The mission of Meyer Pharmaceuticals is to transition promising academic research into commercial therapeutic products for the benefit of patients afflicted with certain debilitating clinical conditions. The company licenses technology from the University of California, Irvine, conducts its own discovery research, and undertakes preclinical and clinical testing of promising new pharmaceuticals.
focused on cytokine receptor-cleaving enzymes for the treatment of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, and cellular vaccines for the treatment of cancer. Proprietary cellular vaccines have been tested in Phase I/II clinical trials for pancreatic cancer. Proprietary enzyme preparations are in preclinical testing for septic shock, arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions.
